I have elected not to proceed with this project because of an average increase of 120% between initial verbal quotes by contractors to provide a concrete monolithic pad per the provided engineering drawings. Initial quotes from three contractors were between $17,000 and $23,953. By the time I had worked my way through the permitting process, which took 5 months and cost thousands of dollars more than anticipated, the written quotes to prepare the pad and pour concrete had jumped to between $37,500 and $42,050. As a retiree on a fixed income, I do not have the money to continue the project at this time.

TEST MODE. Open the actual uploaded file. A filename is not a denial. Saving writes data/store.json only — never email, never live cancel-app. Bulk file-open reviews from data/permit-doc-reviews.json hydrate here when that file exists; they never set government-signed from a filename.

NOT SENTSubject: Cancellation request — additional documents needed
Hello Bruce Breger, To proceed with a refund under the permit-denial policy we need a copy of the permit denial or written confirmation from your building department. A plot plan alone is not enough. Our management team typically requires written confirmation from the building department — even a forwarded email stating the lot cannot take the building. Please reply to this email with that document attached. Review takes 1–2 weeks after we have what we need.
