I had to remove 6 trees, bring in 25 tons of rock and pack ground. I submitted the permit application while performing the ground work. I finally got a message from the county and they wanted a lot more information that I could not answer. I then hired a permitting company. It took them several months to get the permit to the county. It then took several months for the county to get back to them with more requirements. The requirements were then sent back to the county. This whole process has taken over a year and several thousand dollars. We have been living in a fifth wheel this whole time. The purpose of the building was to put in a laundry room and closet space! We have been living on our daughter’s property, Reid for two years to build a house and the county would not approve that! That is why we decided to build the garage. For the purpose of having a laundry room and closet space. Since we have been living in a fifth wheel for almost 4 years, we have decided to move and purchased land with two homes on it! I know it’s not a denial of a permit, but this whole process has created a lot of stress on my family. So I would be really grateful if you would return my deposit. Between the permitting cost for the house and now the garage we have spent over $50,000 dollars. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
